Early January was the release time of the Google Nexus One Android. This new phone is lighter than the iPhone although a bit thicker with two types of material surrounding it. This phone is interesting because of the material that surrounds it. The front and sides are a metallic bezel and the bottom and battery cover are covered in a rubbery material.
It is light and curvy and feels good in your hand. There are five basic buttons on the face which is different that the iPhone. One buttons is for back, one for menu, search and navigating the home screen. The last one is a scroll button but you don’t need to scroll really because of the screen.
These buttons were found to now work that well so the iPhone takes the cake in this department. On the back is the LED flash for the camera with the left being volume control and the USB located on the bottom. In comparing the two, iPhone and Nexus, they were found to compare as male and female but they are both well designed.
