There are two types of cell phones today, the conventional and the Smart phones. The first one generally in the range of $20 to $150 and some are even free with a two year contract.
You can store phone numbers, send and receive text messages and it will have a basic camera. These will also come with hands free talking and some new ones can serf the web. The keypad is typical with high prices models having QWERTY keyboards, a full browser and storage for pictures and music. Custom ring tones are available and game but the list goes one.
Smart phones, once for the busy business man with appointments and e-mail business, are now used more and more by us general folk. These phones are more sophisticated as an organiser, can handle documents from the office with some even editing spreadsheets. Typically they are already equipped with Microsoft Outlook and can work with your PC. These are certainly more advanced than the conventional phones as they have apps for news, travel, multimedia, shopping, weather and social networking to name just a few.
